This Low FODMAP Gluten Free Pasta with Strawberries is a very simple dish. All it takes is to boil the pasta and the rest of things you can make while the pasta is cooking.
It can be a sweet pasta lunch dish or a dessert, with not much added sugar. You can omit sugar, if you wish or add any Low FODMAP suitable sweetener. It is great with blueberries, too.
My daughter is a big fun of pasta, like probably most of the children. And with addition of creamy twaróg cheese with strawberries, it gives her some dairy, protein and fruit intake as well as carbohydrates from pasta. In the UK, you can find it in most of supermarkets, in the international space in the fridge. It come in rectangular or triangular shapes. In Poland you can also find its lactose free version, but it might be more difficult to find in the UK.
Ingredients for a Low FODMAP Gluten Free Pasta with Strawberries:
1 cup of uncooked gluten free pasta, for example fusili
40 g twaróg – Polish curdle cheese, similar to a cottage cheese
30 g natural, lactose free yogurt
1 tsp. caster sugar
3 large strawberries

Instructions to make this Low FODMAP Gluten Free sweet Pasta dish:
Boil the pasta, according to the packaging instructions.
In the meantime, mash the twaróg cheese with a lactose free, natural yogurt, using a fork.
Wash and slice the strawberries.
Assemble. Place the pasta in a bowl, then top it up with curdle cheese, strawberries and a sugar.
