This Low FODMAP ‘Twaróg’ – Polish curdle cheese with herbs is quick and easy high protein breakfast. Make 2 portions and enjoy the rest next day.

Ingredients for 2 servings
of a Low FODMAP ‘Twaróg’ – Polish curdle cheese with herbs:

100 g twaróg 3%, curdle cheese, lactose free. 

(If you use a non-lactose free cheese, then lower the amount of cheese to 40 g per portion.)

60 g natural, lactose free yogurt 3.5%

pinch of fresh oregano, thyme, celery leaves

1 spring onion, green part only

60 g finely chopped cucumber

2 small leaves of iceberg lettuce

salt, pepper to taste

Instructions for 2 servings
of a Low FODMAP ‘Twaróg’ – Polish curdle cheese with herbs:

Mix curdle cheese with yogurt, using a fork. 

Add chopped herbs and cucumber.

Season to taste.

This cheese has a texture and if you don’t like it, blend it first, or maybe just use lactose free cream cheese instead? 

You can eat it on its own, or spread on a spelt sourdough bread. Yummy!
