Place 30g of Ready Brek in a deep bowl, add milk and water, mix well and cook in the microwave, according to the instructions on the box.
You can also cook it on the hob if you don't have a microwave, on a low heat. The recipe can easily be multiplied to cook for more people.
At this stage cooked Ready Brek porridge can be sweetened with sugar or Low FODMAP sweetener, but it isn't necessary since you are adding a maple syrup in the end.
Place the porridge in a medium bowl, top it up with frozen raspberries and blueberries, sprinkle with flaked almonds and drizzle with a tablespoon of maple syrup each. I like to use frozen berries, because I always have them ready. If you do that, then let the fruit sit on top of hot porridge for a few minutes so they thaw, while you get on with your morning jobs. If you have fresh berries, you can use them instead.
